What You’ll Do

OPERATIONS MANAGER
We are seeking a highly organized, strategic, and people-focused Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our matchmaking company and ensure a seamless experience for both clients and team members. This role is essential in maintaining the quality, efficiency, and professionalism of our services while supporting company growth and client satisfaction.
The Operations Manager will supervise workflows, optimize processes, manage the matchmaker and support teams, and ensure that client onboarding, communication, and matchmaking operations run smoothly. This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping people find meaningful connections.
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily operations ensuring efficiency and consistency.
- Develop, refine, and implement operational procedures to streamline workflow.
- Set performance standards and ensure the team adheres to company policies, quality guidelines, and timelines.
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching, guidance, and corrective action as needed.
Team Management
- Supervise matchmakers, coordinators, and support staff.
- Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing training.
- Ensure team members have the tools and resources needed to perform effectively.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and motivated team environment.
Client Experience & Success
- Oversee the client journey from onboarding to match delivery.
- Ensure that all client profiles, matchcards, and communications meet company standards.
- Handle escalated client concerns with professionalism, empathy, and problem-solving.
- Monitor client satisfaction and feedback, then implement improvements where needed.
Quality Control
- Review profiles, match reports, photos, and communication to ensure brand consistency.
- Ensure all deliverables meet the company’s quality standards before reaching clients.
- Maintain high accuracy across client data, documentation, and internal systems.
Process & Systems Management
- Manage CRM entries, data integrity, and workflow automation.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and propose solutions.
- Work with leadership to improve technology, tools, and internal systems.
Scheduling & Coordination
- Oversee scheduling of photoshoots, onboarding calls, and matchmaking sessions.
- Ensure matchmakers meet deadlines for client deliverables.
- Coordinate logistics for events, trainings, and coaching sessions if applicable.
Reporting & Metrics
- Track KPIs such as match success rates, onboarding completion, team output, and client retention.
- Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports for leadership.
- Analyze trends and optimize processes based on performance insights.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, sales, HR, and leadership to align goals and initiatives.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff and contractors.
- Coordinate with the CEO to execute strategic goals and company-wide projects.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field
- Master’s degree (MBA or related) preferred but not required
Professional Experience
Minimum Requirements
- 2–4+ years of experience in operations, management, or administrative leadership
- Experience supervising teams in a service-based environment
Preferred Experience
- Operations management, project management, or customer experience leadership
- Previous experience in matchmaking, staffing, recruiting, coaching, hospitality, luxury service, or relationship-based industries
- Experience managing cross-functional teams (sales, onboarding, support staff, etc.)
- Proven track record of improving processes, workflows, and efficiency
- Background in high-touch client services or concierge-style environments
Compensation
Salary $65,000 – $90,000, depending on experience
